The simplest means of securing your load for transport is to use pressure ratchets or pull ratchets with the specially designed lashing strap. Push or pull ratchets (ERGO) are the most important thing when securing loads; they act as the tensioning element between the load and the lashing strap. Our ratchets reach a breaking load of 8 kN up to 100 kN and are all tested according to DIN EN 12195-2. It should be noted that the pretensioning force STF (Standard Tension Force) of the system varies depending on the lashing strap used in a straight pull. Load securing according to DIN EN 12195-2
Before transporting goods on a truck, trailer, car or even a container, cargo is secured against slipping. In order to be able to ensure safe transport, tension belts are irreplaceable as lashing means. When used correctly, they ensure that the secured load cannot slip or tip during transport, thereby endangering road safety. A two-part lashing strap has a fixed end and a loose end. Both are equipped with an end fitting, you can choose from e.g. pointed hooks as one or two-finger version, swivel hooks, flat hooks, snap hooks.
Securing the load with a cam buckle .. Here the loose end of the lashing strap is pulled into the cam buckle, while the strap is pressed and held by the spring-loaded and toothed lever on the opposite clamp bar. In order to secure the load, all that remains to be done is to tighten the belt strap; the tension is achieved by pulling the belt strap by hand. Our cam buckles are divided into different areas. Depending on the application, you can choose between different webbing widths of 12, 18, 25, 35 and 50 mm and breaking loads of up to 1,400 daN. In our delivery program, we offer cam buckles made of die-cast zinc, steel and stainless steel. These are particularly suitable for securing light loads such as: bundling or strapping roof loads.

The decisive factor for good load securing is the pretensioning force to be achieved, depending on the application, very high STF values are required for load securing, our ERGO long lever pull ratchet is equipped with a gear.
Due to the gear ratio, you can achieve much higher STF values with this ERGO gear ratchet than with a usual ERGO long lever pull ratchet at the pre-tensioning force. Our ERGO gear ratchet (71DQ064) has a lever lock and is designed for 75 mm lashing straps.
