Active Brake System (ABS): enables controlled release of the pre-tensioning force.
Why ABS? It’s as simple as it is obvious.
It’s about your safety, because when transporting goods, your secured load can still ‘settle’ or move a little. Therefore, the load can suddenly start to move uncontrollably when released with a normal pressure or long lever ratchet and possibly cause an accident.
This situation can be prevented with an ABS (Active Brake System) towing ratchet.
An ABS-ERGO long-lever ratchet allows you to release the tension in small steps so that you can react better to a potential problem.
Our ABS tension ratchets are tested in accordance with DIN EN 12195-2 for the prescribed lashing capacity (LC) and breaking load (BL).
