AISI 304

Stainless steel (AISI 304) is the most widely used grade of stainless steel and is valued for its excellent corrosion resistance, attractive appearance, and long service life. Thanks to its outstanding properties, it is ideally suited for indoor use as well as for most outdoor applications. It is easy to maintain, hygienic, durable, and offers an excellent balance between performance and cost. For these reasons, Stainless steel is widely used in industry, construction, transport, and many everyday applications.

Like all stainless steels, Stainless steel is not completely immune to corrosion under every condition. Prolonged exposure to moisture, salt water, de-icing salt, or chlorine-containing substances, as well as use in coastal or industrial environments, may lead to corrosion under certain conditions. In addition, leaving wet materials in prolonged contact with the stainless steel surface can reduce its corrosion resistance. For these more demanding environments, Stainless steel (AISI 316) is recommended, as it has been specifically developed to provide enhanced resistance to salt and other aggressive environmental influences.
