One of the common clamping elements for heavy goods is a pull ratchet, this is also called ERGO ratchet. In contrast to a push ratchet / short lever ratchet, this is more ergonomic for the user. When lashing and tensioning, the lever, as the name of the ratchet already says, is pulled (down) and not pressed, this protects the spine of the user. Another advantage is that higher pretensioning forces – STF (Standard Tension Force) can be achieved here when securing the load.
